Grace Slick is bloody ace. This is protozoan psychedelia fronted by a woman. This is live from the Matrix and has several classics later adopted by Jefferson Airplane such as "White Rabbit" and "Somebody to Love" but in far more embryonic and stretched out form. Very stripped back and live but some very idiosyncratic drumming and great soloing on guitars. Grace belts out on top of it. A force of nature. Excavated from a long vanished chaotic second hand record shop in the back streets of Lewisham in my mid 20's I think.
